Don’t you love internet when they make you discover things that are creative, taste good and are a win win situation?
I am sucker for creamy things, yogurt, dips, crème brûlée, everything that’s soft and creamy i will take it with no hesitation. So when i heard that you could cream cottage cheese i was so happy! I could get in extra protein in my meals and i can use it in so many ways.
Now my social media is full of whipped cottage cheese videos. And so i came up with ways to use it for breakfast.
Here are some whipped cottage tartines ideas for you to fall in love with
Spicy Breakfast Tartine

Toasted Sourdough bread with whipped cottage cheese mixed with habanero ashes,salt and lime juice, hard boiled eggs, cucumber slices, avocado, habanero ashes and olive oil. ( habanero ashes are hard to find, you can add some pickled jalapeño juice into the whipped cottage and some jalapeño slices on top to add an extra spicy touch)
Fancy Brunch Tartine.

Toasted sourdough bread, whipped cottage cheese, smoked salmon, mixed lettuce, pickled Red onion, capers, cucumbers, lemon juice, olive oil, everything but bagel seasoning.
Artichoke and Spinach Dip Tartine.

Toasted sourdough bread, whipped cottage cheese, spinach and artichoke dip, sunny side up egg on top.
Artichoke dip:
1\4 onion Finley diced
1\2 can of artichokes Finley chopped
1 cup of spinach finely chopped.
1\4 cup whipped cottage cheese
1tbsp ghee
Salt, pepper.
Heat a pan on medium high heat and add the ghee, once the ghee is melted add the onions and let them caramelize, next add the artichoke and spinach and cook until the spinach is reduced, add spices. Remove from heat and let it cool, once cooled down, add the cottage and mix well.
